Kompozyt is a brother-duo, born in Poland but living and creating in London, UK.
Dissatisfied with all the rigid computer-sequenced music out there right now, we set out on a journey to find these fleeting ephemeral moments of musical beauty and honest feelings. The sounds of deep healing, the threads weaved masterfully in the evening air, these rarest of magical moments made of dust and hope.
This musical fabric was mostly improvised using only analogue synthesizers and drum machines. It eventually emerged into an fully-fledged album called Synchronicity.
The name "Synchronicity" with its roots in Jungian psychology suggests an exploration of inter-personal connection in time, in the present, in the ever-evolving eternal moment of now. Entropy and all.
On the album we are joined by Olgierd who is a very talented trumpeter from Warsaw, Poland. Olgierd has been performing internationally for many many years, and currently plays with a band called 'Kirk'. His unmissable performances of haunting beauty further reinforce the analogue, live and improvisational aspect of Kompozyt's music. We woudn't have it any other way.
And we hope you'll love the album as much as we did making it.
